Windy City Bulls Drop Final Game in Texas Road Trip

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Austin Spurs 110-105 Sunday afternoon. Windy City was led by guard Jalen Harris with 23 points, three rebounds and five assists.

Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo finished with 18 points and 18 rebounds. Chicago Bulls two-way forward Henri Drell chipped in 17 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Sanogo had a near double-double for Windy City in the first quarter, scoring 10 points and pulling down eight rebounds, however, Austin took a four-point lead. The Spurs scored 34 points in the second quarter, taking a 61-50 lead at halftime.

The Bulls shot 50 percent from the field in the third quarter but the Spurs remained in control with a 12-point lead. Windy City cut Austin's lead to two points with a 40.5 seconds left in the game, however, the Spurs answered with a dunk from San Antonio two-way guard David Duke Jr.

Austin was led by San Antonio Spurs two-way guard Jamaree Bouyea with 24 points on 10-for-17 shooting from the field.

With the loss, Windy City fell to 11-15 in the regular season, Austin improved to 13-11.

Next up, Windy City travels back home to NOW Arena to face the Grand Rapids Gold on Tuesday, March 12. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:00PM and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
