CONEY ISLAND, NY - Behind a sixth-inning rally, the Connecticut Tigers rallied to beat the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season Class A affiliate of the New York Mets, 4-2 in the finale of a three-game set at MCU Park.

BIG MOMENTS
Connecticut rallied to take the lead, scoring twice in the top of the sixth against Brooklyn starter Frank Valentino. Connecticut's Corey Joyce and Avery Tuck drove in back-to-back runs to give the Tigers a 4-2 edge.
Kona Quiggle pulled a solo home run down the right field line to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead in the top of the fourth.
Kennie Taylor launched a solo homer against Tigers starter Carson Lance in the bottom of the first, giving Brooklyn a 1-0 lead. Taylor's homer traveled 396 feet to left field, coming off the bat at 103 mph.

NEWS & NOTES
Brooklyn dropped its first August home game of the season, falling to 5-1 at home during the month.
Kennie Taylor went 6-13 during the three-game series with two doubles, a triple, and a home run. Taylor drove in four runs and reached base seven times in 14 trips to the plate.
With a seventh-inning hit, Jake Mangum has collected hits in 12 of his past 13 games.
