Clones For Clunkers Program Unveiled

September 1, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL)
Cincinnati Cyclones News Release

Cincinnati, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones announced this morning the Clones for Clunkers program. This program aims to take the bad memories of a Cincinnati pro sports team loss and replace it with the memory of a winner. Tri-State residents can bring their used ticket stub from a Cincinnati professional sports team loss and exchange it for $2.00 off of a Cyclones opening night ticket. Opening night, Saturday, October 24, will see the Cyclones take on the Wheeling Nailers and will feature the raising of the 2008-2009 North Division Championship Banner prior to the game.

The only day that fans can take advantage of this program is Wednesday, September 9 at U.S. Bank Arena. The Cyclones will host an Open House from noon - 8:00pm to allow fans to take part in the Clones For Clunkers program, check out seats for the upcoming season, speak to representatives about ticket packages, and see the Cyclones prepare the ice for the upcoming season.

In order to qualify for the Clones For Clunkers Program, the following stipulations must be met:

1) A used ticket stub from a Cincinnati professional sports team in which they lost that particular game

2) Ticket stub must be from the last calendar year. Stubs prior to September 9, 2008 are not valid

3) One stub qualifies you for one discounted ticket, two for two, so on and so forth

4) Offer valid on all seats except VIP.

Tickets for the 2009-10 Cincinnati Cyclones season are now on sale. The Cyclones Sales Department can be reached at 513-421-PUCK, extension 3. The Cyclones open the season at Elmira on Friday, October 16 and after three road games, host their home opener at U.S. Bank Arena against Wheeling on Saturday, October 24 at 7:30pm. There will be a special divisional championship banner raising ceremony prior to that game.
