Clippers Cruise Past Ignite To Split Two-Game Series

HENDERSON, Nevada - The Ontario Clippers (1-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the LA Clippers, take down the G League Ignite (1-1), 111-96, for their first win of the regular season on Thursday night.

The Clippers were led by a reserves Xavier Moon and Nate Darling, who recorded 25 points apiece off the bench to lead all scorers. Moussa Diabate (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Brandon Boston Jr. (15 points, 11 rebounds) each recorded a double-double in the victory.

The Ignite were led by Leonard Miller's 17 points and nine rebounds. Scoot Henderson added a 12-point, eight-rebound, and six-assist effort in the loss.

Even through the first half, it was the Clippers who came out of the break red-hot with a 23-8 run to open the third period. The Ontario advantage would extend to as much as 20 as they would lead the rest of the way.

Next up, the Clippers travel to South Dakota for the front end of a back-to-back against the Skyforce on New Year's Eve. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 pm PST inside the Sanford Pentagon.
