
Clinton Season Opener Postponed, Doubleheader Saturday

Clinton, IA - The season opener between the Clinton LumberKings and the Beloit Snappers has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, April 11th at Ashford University Field. First pitch for game one is schedule for 2:00 PM, with the second to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.
The probable starters remain the same as the scheduled pair for Thursday night, as righty Daniel Missaki, now one day following his 19th birthday, is set to oppose 22-year-old Brett Graves. First pitch Friday night is scheduled for 6:30 CT. The LumberKings broadcast will begin at 6:15 and can be heard on WCCI 100.3 FM, WCCIRadio.com, and LumberKings.com. The first game of the doubleheader on Saturday will be on the radio, while the second will be broadcast only online at LumberKings.com.
