Classic Harley Davidson Presents \'The Orange Crush Bus'
September 5, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL)
Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization will host 'The Orange Crush Bus' presented by Classic Harley Davidson-the Third Annual Road Warriors' Trek to Trenton for the 2007-08 season opener on Friday, October 19, against the Trenton Devils at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. The opening face-off drops on the Royals' seventh season at 7:30 pm that evening. If past experience is any guide, it's safe to say that the Road Warriors will make their presence felt in Trenton that night-a fact that may be heightened just a bit since every Road Warrior will be decked out in their limited edition bright orange "R-Team/R-Fans" t-shirt which comes with the $35.00 price. For that fee, Road Warriors receive bus transportation to and from Reading and Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton and a ticket to the game that night, as well as the appropriately loud (if not obnoxious) orange t-shirt. It's worth noting that this is the best opportunity for fans to see the Royals in the early stages of the season, as the team starts the year with seven consecutive road games-five of which will be played in the southeast United States.
The luxurious buses provided by Carl Bieber Tourways will depart from the Fairgrounds Square Mall parking lot (past J.C. Penney's near the Farmer's Market) at three different times to accommodate a variety of schedules: 5:00, 5:30 pm, and 6:00 pm. Fans can choose between buses on which adult beverages will be permitted (although not served), and those that will be more family oriented. Road Warriors are permitted to bring a cooler that can fit in one's lap; but it is important to note that no alcoholic beverages will be permitted on the non-drinking buses. Reservations must be made by October 15, 2007 and can be secured with a credit card by calling Brenna Temple at 610-898-7311; or with cash or credit card at the Royals office (645 Penn Street, 3rd Floor). More information on 'The Orange Crush Bus' presented by Classic Harley Davidson-the Royals' Road Warriors' Third Annual Trek To Trenton is available on the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com, and www.classicharley.com.
The Royals' home opener is on Saturday, November 3, 2007, against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Royals' full Season Tickets and Total Choice Flex Plans are now on sale. To obtain more information on becoming a part of Royals' hockey, call 610-898-PUCK to speak with Royals' ticket representative or visit the Royals website, www.royalshockey.com.
