City Pride Nights At Perani
February 15, 2010 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Flint Generals News Release
FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals hosted the first City Pride Night this past Saturday between Clio and Mt. Morris. The pride night invited everyone who lives/works/goes to school in or simply likes Mt. Morris or Clio out to the Generals game to show their support for the Generals and the pride for their city.
The next Pride Night is this Friday, February 19th between the Swartz Creek and Flushing communities. Then on Sunday, citizens of Kearsley and Bentley will get their chance to show which city has greater spirit.
The arena is decorated with the colors of the schools for each city (one city's colors on one side of the rink and the colors of the other city on the opposite side) and when fans order/come to the ticket office to get their tickets they can ask for seats on their city's side of the rink.
There are great group prices for groups of 10 or more, but groups must be arranged and have tickets ordered at least by noon on Friday in order to get the special group pricing. There are also special group prices for any business or group that would like to host a table on the concourse during this game! For more information on group tickets or the business packages available, call the Generals office at 810-744-0222.
