Circelli's Hat Trick Highlights Jacks' 7-3 Win

(Wichita, KS) - Collin Circelli scored three power play goals as the Jackalopes recorded their fifth hat trick of the season in a 7-3 win over Wichita on Saturday night at the Kansas Coliseum. Odessa scored four first period goals and never looked back.

The first period scoring frenzy for the Jackalopes began with Kenny Bernard at 2:36 from Phil Plante and Mike Ramsay. Collin Circelli followed with a pair of power play goals at 8:00 and 10:04. Then Mike Lesperance banged in a loose puck on a Jacks' three-on-one rush to make the score 4-0 favoring Odessa. Troy Ofukany scored for Wichita in the first period between the circles on an assist from Jordan Hack.

Circelli scored his hat trick goal at 4:44 of the third period. Dominic Leveille also added a power play goal, while Kory Karlander added a penalty shot goal for Odessa. Wichita's Marc Belanger scored for the Thunder.

Wichita's Jason Tessier scored the only goal of the second period at 14:57

Collin Circelli set a new career high for goals scored in a season at any level with his 24th, 25th, 26th goals of the season.

Odessa continues their road trip tomorrow in Amarillo against the Gorillas. Game time is set for 4:05 PM.
