Helena's Jorge Ortega set the tone with seven scoreless innings, and the Chukars were only able to scatter four hits throughout the night. The Brewers evened the three game series with a 3-0 win. Ortega got out of a runners at the corners with two outs jam in the first, and faced the minimum after that. Michael Hill was the only baserunner for the Chukars during the stretch, and he was immediately erased with a double play. No member of Idaho Falls had multiple hits. It's the second time the Greybirds have been shut out.

STREAKY BIRDS: Idaho Falls is trending in the right direction after a slow start to the 2nd half of the season. The Chukars have won seven of their past ten games. For the first time in streak, the Greybirds won a game scoring fewer than seven runs on Tuesday. The wins came right after a stretch in which they lost six of seven games.

The last time the Greybirds were at Kindrick Legion Field, Frank Schwindel hit a 3 run home run en route to a 6-0 win to wrap up the title. 2014 Chukars pitchers Jon Fitzsimmons and Austin Fairchild were members of that team.

O'HEARN PLAYER OF JULY: The Pioneer League Announced Tuesday that Chukars standout Ryan O'Hearn has been named the Pioneer League Player of July. The first baseman/right fielder hit an outstanding .405 during the month, with an on-base percentage of .492, while slugging .658. O'Hearn hit seven homers, and scored 31 runs. His college teammate, Corey Toups, was named the Idaho Falls Player of July by the Kansas City Royals, reaching base in every game he played in the month.

INTERDIVISION PLAY: This is day ten of the second stint of interdivision play. In the first wave, the South toppled the North with a 34-22 record. The South has had the slim advantage in the 2nd stint, going 18-16 in the 34 games.

WHAT'S NEXT: After tonight, Idaho Falls continues the seven game road trip by heading to Missoula to begin a four game series against the Osprey.
