HELENA, MT -- For only the second time this season, Idaho Falls was blanked. Helena's Jorge Ortega set the tone with seven scoreless innings, and the Chukars were only able to scatter four hits throughout the night. The Brewers even the three game series with a 3-0 win.

Idaho Falls (28-26, 8-8) was baffled throughout the night. One week after Jorge Ortega (3-3) allowed a season high ten hits against the Chukars, the right-hander flipped the script in Montana. Ortega got out of a runners at the corners with two outs jam in the first, and faced the minimum after that. Michael Hill was the only baserunner for the Chukars during the stretch, and he was immediately erased with a double play. No member of Idaho Falls had multiple hits. It's the second time the Greybirds have been shut out.

Brooks Pounders completed his rehab assignment on a positive note for Idaho Falls. The right-hander went 4.2 innings, allowing two runs, with only one being earned.

Idaho Falls made mistakes in the field again. The Greybirds committed three more errors, making it 20 in the last six games. The Chukars have still won seven of their past ten games, while falling to 14-9 against the North.

The Chukars continue their seven game road trip by playing game three of the three game series against the Helena Brewers tomorrow. Eric Skoglund is scheduled to pitch for Idaho Falls.
