Chris Wright Returns to Iowa Energy

DES MOINES, IA (March 27, 2013) - The Iowa Energy have announced the return of guard Chris Wright to the team. Wright returns from a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks.

Upon receiving his Gatorade Call-Up to the Mavericks Chris became the first confirmed player in the NBA with multiple sclerosis.

Wright will be in uniform as the Energy return to the court this week for two home games. The Energy host Fort Wayne tomorrow, Thursday, March 28th, at 7pm for "$1 Beer Night." Saturday, March 30th is "Hoops for the Cure," presented by the Mercy Cancer Center. The Energy will wear pink uniforms, which will be auctioned off during the game to benefit the Mercy Cancer Center and local cancer research. The first 500 kids at Saturday's game will also receive an Othyus Jeffers growth chart compliments of Mercy Children's Hospital and Clinics. Doors open at 6pm for the 7pm tip time against the Reno Bighorns on Saturday.
