The Central Hockey League (CHL), in conjunction with Network Foundation Technology (NFT), announced today that the 2008 CHL All-Star Game will be broadcast LIVE on CHL Network, the online broadcast service. The telecast will serve as the only way to watch the game scheduled for Wednesday, January 16th in Broomfield, Colorado at the Broomfield Event Center. The broadcast will begin at 6:30 PM (MST) with face-off scheduled for approximately 7:05 PM (MST). The host team for the all-star game is the Rocky Mountain Rage.

In addition, the broadcast team for the CHL Network broadcast has been announced with Tori Holt of the Colorado Eagles taking the play-by-play duties and Robby Incmikoski of the Arizona Sundogs serving as color analyst. Holt has been with the Eagles as their radio and television play-by-play announcer since the team's expansion season in 2003-04. The Saint Cloud State graduate was born in Burnsville, Minnesota but now resides in Windsor, Colorado. He also serves as one of the announcers for the Denver University Pioneers broadcasts on Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain. Incmikoski, like Holt, was the first and only regular play-by-play announcer for his team. He brings an array of radio and television broadcast experience to the game. Most recently he has worked in the production department for the NFL on FOX.

The All-Star broadcast on the CHL Network will feature many extra interviews and segments as the entire broadcast will air LIVE from the Broomfield Event Center with no interruptions.

In addition, the CHL along with NFT have announced a viewer contest that will run from January 4th through the games of January 13th. Any fan that is logged onto the CHL Network watching any CHL game between the 4th and 13th will be automatically entered into the contest. Those entered will be randomly chosen with the winners announced during the intermissions of the All-Star Broadcast on the CHL Network (January 16th). The grand prize is a Northern and Southern Conference team autographed All-Star Jersey with additional prizes including other All-Star merchandise.

A special All-Star Preview Show featuring Rocky Mountain broadcaster Brian Clark and Head Coach Tracy Egeland will premiere on Friday, January 4th via the CHL Channel on the CHL Network. The show can be seen at 6:00 PM (CST) and will be re-broadcast during intermissions of various CHL games throughout this weekend.

The radio broadcast of the All-Star game will originate from the Rage's flagship station, the NEW ESPN Radio 1600, and be available in several CHL markets and will stream LIVE through the Rage's website (www.rockymountainrage.com).

The radio play-by-play call of the game will be handled by the hometown Rage's Brian Clark and the color analyst will be Rich Bocchini of the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. Clark is in his second season with the Rage and Bocchini is in his third season with the Bees.

The CHL Network is the online broadcasting service, provided jointly by the CHL and NFT. CHL games are available for viewing, every night of the season, using the CHL Network Online Player, all at no cost to the end user.
