Chivas USA Returns With 'Chivas At The Park' Program For Third Year

CARSON, Calif. (Friday, March 26, 2010) - Chivas USA returns the popular 'Chivas at the Park' program this Saturday, starting a series of 10 soccer clinics to take place in various parks throughout Los Angeles. This on the heels of last year's successful series, the grassroots program provides high-level soccer instruction at first-class facilities throughout Southern California.

The program begins tomorrow, Saturday, March 26, at the Expo Center next to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, with the first of four clinics kicking off at 9:00 a.m. For just a $5 registration fee, clinics offer participating boys and girls ages 5-15, the opportunity to learn soccer techniques and practice drills that highlight teamwork, all of this, in an environment that promotes the importance of fitness for the entire family. All participants in the clinic will receive 90 minutes of soccer instruction, a Chivas at the Park t-shirt, and a certificate of completion.

Chivas at the Park is made possible by the support of City of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. A full schedule for the 'Chivas at the Park L.A.' program is listed below.
