Chiefs Trade Friedt-Mohr to Edmonton

Spokane, Wash. -- The Spokane Chiefs announced on Monday that they have traded defenseman Chase Friedt-Mohr to the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for a conditional eighth-round pick in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.

A 2003-born rearguard from Prince Albert, Sask., he has appeared in 15 WHL games, scoring a goal and an assist. He played one game for the Chiefs this season before being reassigned in October, and is currently playing with the Kindersley Klippers of the SJHL.

Friedt-Mohr was originally the Chiefs' fifth-round (105th overall) pick in the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft.
