
Chiefs Players to Visit Grant Elementary, Isaac Foundation, and Fred Meyer

At 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19th, Spokane Chiefs players Ty Cheveldayoff, Chase Harrington, Brayden Crampton, staff and Boomer, along with representatives from Avista, will visit Grant Elementary as part of the Avista Heroes Program. Chiefs players and staff will lead a school assembly to talk to students about the importance of goal setting and play a game with students. The Chiefs and Avista will also donate 200 tickets that the school will be able to use as incentives for student performance and goal setting.
Also on Tuesday, March 19th, Spokane Chiefs players Shea Van Olm, Dawson Cowan, and Saige Weinstein will visit the Isaac Foundation Clubhouse from 4-6 pm. The clubhouse is a social hangout place open for drop-in engagement opportunities for students in grades 6-12 who are impacted by autism and special needs. Players will interact, play games, help with schoolwork, etc. Isaac Foundation has been a partner of the Chiefs for the past two seasons, helping facilitate the now annual Neurodiversity Awareness Night at a Chiefs game each season.
On Wednesday, March 20th, the team will be split with 7-8 players going to each of the three Fred Meyer locations in the Spokane area to help you bag your groceries and collect donations for 2nd Harvest. Cash donations as well as purchased items from Fred Meyer are welcome. The players will be at Fred Meyer from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
