Chiefs Fall to Cincy

Johnstown, PA- The Cincinnati Cyclones scored four second period goals including two on the power play as they handed the Chiefs their first home loss of the season by the score of 5-2 Saturday night at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena.

Andy Doktorchik and Mike Varhaug scored the Johnstown goals, while the Cyclones got goals from Evan Cheverie, Matt Noga, Brent Twordik, Bob Crummer, and Ryan Gaucher.

Marc Kielkucki made 23 saves in net for the Cyclones for his first win of the season. Peter Aubry played the first two periods in goal for the Chiefs allowing all five goals and making 18 saves. Dany Dallaire played the third period stopping all six shots he faced.

Both teams records are now 2-2-0 on the season.

The Chiefs close out this busy weekend tomorrow night on the road when they take on the Dayton Bombers. Game time is at 6:00 p.m. The Chiefs return home Halloween night when they take on the Lexington Men O'War at 7:00 p.m.
