Chiefs Announce Crown American As An 08-09 Sponsor

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today that Crown American has joined as a sponsor for the 2008-09 season.

"We believe that the Chiefs are an important community asset. Their games represent the largest venue for family entertainment in the region. Furthermore the success of the Chiefs, being the largest tenant for the arena, is critical to the success and viability of the War Memorial," said Crown American president Mark Pasquerilla.

"We're more than excited to have Crown American as a sponsor for this season. It is a first-rate organization that has supported the Chiefs for many years," said Chiefs vice president and general manager Bill Bredin.
