Chicago Sky Exercise Dana Evans' Fourth-Year Option

CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky have exercised the fourth-year option on guard Dana Evans' rookie scale contract, the team announced today.

Originally drafted No. 13 overall by Dallas in the 2021 WNBA Draft, Chicago acquired Evans in June 2021. She appeared in 23 games for the Sky in her rookie season and was named to the 2021 WNBA All-Rookie Team after leading all rookies in free throw percentage (88.5%) and second among rookies in three-point field goal percentage (40.0%).

In her collegiate career at Louisville, Evans earned AP and USBWA First-team All-American honors in 2021, was named two-time ACC Player of the Year (2020, 2021) and a two-time First-team All-ACC member (2020, 2021).
