Washington Mystics Announce 2023 Broadcast Schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Mystics announced today their local broadcast schedule for the 2023 season. Viewers will be able to watch all 23 non-exclusive nationally televised games on NBC Sports Washington (NBCSW). Monumental Sports Network (MSN) will also stream all Washington Mystics games for the 2023 season, with the exception of nationally televised games on ABC, ESPN, and ION Television.

For the first time, NBC Sports Washington will air live Mystics gameday programs with Mystics Pregame Live and Mystics Postgame Live to provide news, analysis, and commentary for a half-hour before and after each game. Washington becomes the first WNBA team to have a regional sports network hold pre and postgame programing surrounding games. NBCSW is also the only WNBA broadcast producing both pre/post shows, for all home games.

The shows will be hosted by Wes Hall who also leads the Washington Wizards pre and postgame shows. The pregame and postgame shows will also feature behind the scenes Mystics content and exclusive interviews with players and team personnel to give fans and viewers an in-depth look into the team.

University of Maryland Hall of Famer Christy Winters-Scott returns for her 14th season as color analyst for the Mystics and will be joined by Mystics play-by-play announcer Meghan McPeak who enters her fifth season with the team. DMV native Ariana Freeman will make her broadcast debut as Washington's new sideline reporter. During her time at the University of Louisville, Freeman made it to the Elite Eight during the 2017 NCAA Tournament.

Coverage of the Mystics 2023 season rounds out NBCSW year-round sports offering to DMV fans. NBCSW provides more NBA, WNBA, and NHL sports coverage than any other network, beating TNT and ESPN in total number of league games broadcast in the Washington, D.C. market.

The 2023 Washington Mystics are led by new head coach Eric Thibault and feature Olympians Ariel Atkins and Elena Delle Donne, WNBA Peak Performer Natasha Cloud, newcomer Brittney Sykes and second-year player Shakira Austin.

In addition, during the offseason, Washington added two-time WNBA Champion guard Kristi Toliver, signed Swedish native Amanda Zahui B. and re-signed WNBA Champion Shatori Walker-Kimbrough.
