
Chicago Fire FC to Host Club América in Leagues Cup 2023 Round of 32

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced that the Club will host Mexican powerhouse Club América at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 4, at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill.
Season Ticket Members will be able to purchase tickets in a presale beginning at 10 a.m. CT today, Aug. 1, at the Members Headquarters Page. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 12 p.m. CT today, Aug. 1 and can be purchased at LeaguesCup.com. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. CT, with parking lots opening at 4 p.m. CT.
Chicago advanced to the Leagues Cup 2023 Round of 32 with a 3-2 come-from-behind win against Minnesota United on July 27 at Allianz Field, followed by a 1-1 tie against Club Puebla on July 31 at SeatGeek Stadium. The four points placed the Fire atop Group Central 2, setting up the match against Mexican side Club América, who finished second in Group Central 1.
All matches of the single-elimination knockout round will air live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app in over 100 countries and regions around the world. In addition, TelevisaUnivision, FOX Sports, TSN and RDS will be the linear broadcast home for select Leagues Cup matches in the United States and Canada. The Leagues Cup Round of 32 will take place August 2-4. Round of 16 matches are confirmed for August 6-8, Quarterfinals on August 11-12, Semi-Finals August 15, and the Third-Place and Final on Saturday, August 19.
