With 15 seconds gone in the third quarter of the Aces Friday night season-opening game at Phoenix, guard Chelsea Gray found Kelsey Plum open for a three-pointer that gave Las Vegas a 57-32 lead. It was the 1,000th career assist for the four-time All-Star. She is the 31st player to reach the 1,000-assist mark.
