
New York Liberty Announce 2022 Broadcast Schedule

NEW YORK - The New York Liberty today announced the 2022 regular season broadcast schedule, which features a record 27 YES Network telecasts and 20 nationally televised games including 11 on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN), six on NBA TV and three on ESPN. Tomorrow's season opener against the Connecticut Sun will begin the WNBA on ESPN slate.
YES Network, the team's official regional TV partner since 2019, will air a record 27 Liberty games this season, beginning on Friday, May 13 (8 p.m. ET), when the Liberty host the Indiana Fever. YES' 27 Liberty broadcasts will also be streamed live on the YES App, which can be downloaded here. Michael Grady, Chris Shearn and Zora Stephenson will share play-by-play duties, while Andraya Carter and Julianne Viani-Braen will rotate in the analyst role. Additionally, fitness instructor and Liberty in-arena host Jess Sims will be the sideline reporter for select games.
The Liberty will host their first-ever ESPN game at Barclays Center tomorrow at 6 p.m. ET. New York will return to action on ESPN when they face off against Seattle Storm at home on Sunday, June 19 at 12 p.m. ET. Three days later, the team will travel up to Connecticut to take on the Sun on ESPN2 on Wednesday, June 22 at 7 p.m. ET. Additionally, New York's final regular season game on Sunday, August 14 at 2 p.m. ET against the Atlanta Dream will be available on ESPN3.
The Liberty's 11-game CBS Sports Network schedule will commence with a road matchup against the reigning WNBA Champion, Chicago Sky, on Wednesday, May 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
New York's six NBA TV games are scheduled following the All-Star break, which will feature three Eastern and three Western Conference matchups, beginning on July 14 against the Las Vegas Aces at 11 a.m. ET.
In addition to livestreams available on the YES App, the team's matinee against the Chicago Sky on June 12 at 2 p.m. ET can be viewed on Amazon, while Head Coach Sandy Brondello's return to Phoenix on July 7 can be watched on Facebook at 10 p.m. ET. Three Liberty games will also be available via Twitter this season including May 13 versus Indiana, June 3 at Washington and June 30 against Atlanta.
