February 16, 2005 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Motor City Mechanics News Release
Fraser, MI â The Motor City Mechanics host the Richmond River Dogs tonight, the puck drops at 7:30pm.
"While it is a sad day for everyone in hockey with the cancellation of the NHL season, there are more than 100 minor professional hockey teams still competing for their respective cups," Mechanics President John Tull said. "While the Motor City Mechanics, like most hockey fans, would rather have Chelios, Hatcher, Smolinski and Avery playing for their NHL teams, we are proud to have them compete as Mechanics on the ice in the United Hockey League."
Tickets still remain for tonight's home game against the Richmond River Dogs. Chris Chelios will sign autographs for fans following the game on the concourse.
Tickets for all upcoming home games remaining in the 2004-05 season are still available. To purchase tickets, please call Ticketmaster at 248-645-6666, visit www.ticketmaster.com or stop by the box office at the Great Lakes Sports City Arena. Box Office hours are 12pm â 9pm Monday through Friday.
