Two Beloit Snappers players took time on their off day to visit WTVO Channel 17's popular morning show "Daybreak." Infielders Garrett Olson and Chris Cates made the trip down to Rockford on Tuesday morning to chat with WTVO's Dana Arquilla.
So far this season, Garrett is hitting .261 with two home runs and 22 RBIs. Olson also has seven doubles and nine stolen bases to go along with a .344 slugging percentage.
Originally from Norway, Maine, Olson was the Twins' second pick in the fourth round of the 2006 First-Year Player draft. Before he was drafted by the Twins, Garrett attended Franklin Pierce College where he was a two-time All-American.

In 38 games this year, Chris Cates is hitting .241 with 12 RBI's. The 5'3 infielder has a .306 on-base percentage along with seven runs scored this season.
Selected in the 38th round of the 2007 First-Year Player draft by the Twins, Cates is originally from Brandon, Florida. Chris attended the University of Louisville where he was named Third-Team All-Big East while also leading his team in batting average (.332) and runs (47) as a junior.
