
Charles Bassey Assigned to Austin Spurs

AUSTIN - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have assigned center Charles Bassey to the Austin Spurs. In a corresponding roster move, forward Sandro Mamukelashvili has been recalled back to San Antonio.
In 10 games with Austin last season as a Two-Way player, Bassey averaged 22.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 blocks in 29.9 minutes.
Bassey will be available in today's game against the Texas Legends at 3:30 p.m. at the Comerica Center. The game will be available to watch on Bally Sports Southwest.
In last night's contest against the Legends, Mamukelashvili posted a career-high 34 points, shooting 12-of-24 from the field and grabbed 22 rebounds in the Spurs 124-122 victory over Texas.
