Cleveland Charge forward Mamadi Diakite vs. the Windy City Bulls

LAS VEGAS, NV - The Cleveland Charge were defeated in the semifinal game of the 2022 NBA G League Showcase Cup after a 95-94 loss to the Windy City Bulls on Tuesday night.
With the score tied 93-93, Isaiah Mobley split a pair of free throws to put Cleveland within one of the target score of 95. Windy City's Carlik Jones came off of a screen on the ensuing possession and pulled up for an 18-foot jumper that sealed the victory for the Bulls.
Mamadi Diakite led Cleveland with a game-high 27 points on 12-of-21 from the floor with 14 rebounds and four blocks in 40 minutes. Mobley finished with 24 points, six boards, five assists and five blocks in 35 minutes. Sam Merrill added 13 points and six rebounds, while Sharife Cooper had 10 points and six assists.
Windy City was paced by Ethan Thompson's 22 points and two steals in 35 minutes. Jones and Dalen Terry each finished with 15 points. The Charge begin the regular season with Space Jam Night presented by Nuevo on Wednesday, December 28th at 7:00 p.m. against the Grand Rapids Gold (Denver Nuggets).
