KEIZER, OR - The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes are Northwest League Western Division Champions, for the third consecutive season, and will defend their Northwest League Championship by hosting the decisive Games 3, 4*, and 5*, of the best of 5, Northwest League Championship Series on Saturday, September 6, Sunday, September 7* and Monday, September 8* (*if necessary), all at Volcanoes Stadium. Three-game ticket strips for these games are on sale now. The Volcanoes will face the Spokane Indians, the League's Eastern Division winner, for the 2008 Northwest League Championship. Game 1 will be played on Thursday, September 4th at 6:30 p.m., and game 2 on Friday, September 5th at 1:30 p.m - both at Spokane's Avista Stadium. The remaining decisive games, of the NWLCS, will take place in Keizer, Oregon -- the winner will be crowned at Volcanoes Stadium !

Tickets for the 2008 Northwest League Championship Series can purchased by calling the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes at (503) 390-2225 ext. 3007.
The advance purchase price will be the same price as regular season tickets:
Box seats can be purchased for $36 for the 3-game strip ($12 per game), $30 for the 3-game strip ($10 per game) for reserved seats,
or $24 for the 3-game strip ($8.00 per game) for outfield seats. Full credit will be given for any game, of the best of 5 series, that is not played.
