CF Montréal Unveils New Secondary Jersey
February 18, 2022 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - CF Montréal unveiled Friday its new adidas secondary jersey for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
The new jersey features the return of the blue colour, a testament to the Club's history, accomplishments, and identity. The streaks that run through the silver jersey evoke the blue that courses through the veins of all the Club's supporters from the very beginning. Blue is also rooted in the history of soccer in Quebec, where CF Montréal continues to play a leading role in the development of young local talent and as a proud representative of the beautiful game in Montreal. In 2022, CF Montréal will write the next chapter of its history, without leaving behind what has led it to this point.
The back of this V-neck jersey also features the city of Montreal's floral emblem. This logo, made up of four hearts, symbolizes Montrealers' attachment to their city.
BMO Financial Group, the presenting partner of CF Montréal, is once again featured prominently in the centre of the jersey for an 11th consecutive season in MLS.
CF Montréal will play the return leg of its Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 against Santos Laguna this Tuesday at 8pm ET at Olympic Stadium. Individual tickets for this match are currently on sale for $20 (plus applicable taxes) exclusively through the club's website.
