CF Montréal Meets Toronto FC Saturday Night at BMO Field

TORONTO, Ontario - CF Montréal (11-10-9) will lock horns with Toronto FC (6-17-7) this Saturday at 7:30pm EDT at BMO Field (TVA Sports 2, TSN, 91.9 Sports, TSN690.ca).
The Montrealers are undefeated this year against their cross-provincial rivals, having won all six points in their previous two encounters by 4-2 and 3-1 score lines at DRV PNK Stadium and Stade Saputo, respectively. With a win, Montreal could climb into fifth in the standings and further distance itself from D.C. United and New York City FC who both trail Montreal by a single point.
Already eliminated from playoff contention and sitting second from the bottom in the Eastern Conference in 12th place, the Ontario side will look to spoil CFMTL's playoff hopes, as they enter the game on the heels of a 3-0 defeat to Inter Miami CF in Florida. TFC has struggled to find the back of the net of late, with the team's last goals coming on October 3 against the Chicago Fire.
