Chicago Fire FC News Release
CHICAGO - Ahead of tomorrow's home match versus Real Salt Lake, the Fire is asking fans to arrive early to Soldier Field. With the match serving as the Fire's annual Fan Appreciation Night, presented by 7UP, the Club is expecting more than 30,000 fans in attendance for the team's final home game of the 2021 season.
Fire fans are encouraged to arrive early as the large attendance will impact traffic patterns for vehicles and pedestrians entering the stadium. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. CT and tickets are available for purchase.
With the final home game serving as a celebration of the Fire faithful, the first 10,000 fans to enter the stadium will receive a hat and a flag featuring the Club's new crest. Additionally, directly following the game, the Fire will host a post-match fireworks show above Lake Michigan.
During the match, fans in attendance will be randomly selected to win prizes, including Red Hot Chili Pepper and Coldplay concert tickets at Soldier Field, match-used items like corner flags and the goal net, products from the Club's partners, and more. In addition, randomly selected Season Ticket Holders will win the game-worn jerseys from all 20 dressed players.
Fans who arrive early to Soldier Field will have access to Burnham Downs, a pre-match tailgate hosted by the Club outside Soldier Field's southeast entrance. Opening at 3:30 p.m. CT, Burnham Downs will feature various fan-focused activities, including soccer skill games, the Heineken Airstream Bar for fans 21-and-over, the La Cocinita food truck, on-site live mural painting by Chicago artist Miguel Del Real, a $1,000 Speed Kick Competition presented by CIBC and product samples from Pizza Puff and MadeGood. Burnham Downs is free and open to all fans.
