HAMILTON, Ontario - CF Montréal continues its Canadian Championship title defence against Forge FC, at Tim Hortons Field, this Wednesday at 7:30pm EST (One Soccer, 91.9 Sports, TSN 690), in the tournament's semifinal round.

After defeating HFX Wanderers FC 3-1 in Halifax on September 22 in the quarterfinals, CFMTL will visit two-time defending Canadian Premier League champion Forge FC. In addition to being the first ever meeting between the two clubs, this marks the first time in CF Montréal history that two Quebec-born siblings will meet in the competition as midfielder Mathieu Choinière will cross paths with his older brother David Choinière (former Club player, 2016-2018). The home side, currently third in CPL standings, earned its berth by defeating Valour FC 2-1 last month.

CF Montréal is undefeated in its last four regular season matches (1-0-3), occupying eighth place in the Eastern Conference, tied on 43 points with both Atlanta United FC and the New York Red Bulls, the latter of which Montreal will visit this Saturday in New Jersey.
