CF Montréal in Cincinnati on Wednesday Night

Club de Foot Montreal News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - In the midst of a seven-game stretch in 22 days, CF Montréal will be in action this Wednesday at 7:30pm against FC Cincinnati at TQL Stadium (Apple MLS Season Pass, RDS, TSN, BPM Sports, TSN 690).
The Bleu-blanc-noir have won their last six matches in all competitions and have not conceded a goal in MLS since April 18.
The six straight wins represent a record for Montreal since entering MLS. Hernán Losada's team has scored a brace in each of those games. In addition, last Saturday, Montreal limited Toronto FC to just two shots. This was only the second time in Club history that Montreal has successfully held the opposition to just two shots or less in MLS (none on target).
The Club also continues extending its clean sheet record. It has now been 404 consecutive minutes for Jonathan Sirois without conceding in MLS fixtures. The team is 16 minutes away from tying the record set by Evan Bush in 2018.
Montreal holds a 3-3-1 overall record against Cincinnati with 15 goals scored and 15 conceded. At TQL Stadium, Montreal's record is 1-1-1. Romell Quioto leads Montreal's attack against Cincinnati with three goals and one assist.
Montreal has bested the Ohioans in three of the last four meetings between the sides. The last two meetings have ended in 4-3 Montreal wins. However, never in MLS history have seven or more goals been scored in three straight games between the same two teams.
The hosts have made TQL Stadium a fortress since the beginning of the season and sit second in the Eastern Conference standings with 24 points. Cincinnati is a perfect 6-0-0 at home, but all six matches were won by single-goal margins. There are only five clubs in MLS history that have managed to win their first seven home games. The Philadelphia Union was the most recent team to accomplish the feat in 2020 (nine consecutive home wins).
