CHARLOTTE, North Carolina - After defeating Nashville SC on Wednesday for the first time in Club history and extending the streak of consecutive regular-season home shutout wins to six games, CF Montréal heads to North Carolina to take on Charlotte FC this Saturday at 7:30pm at Bank of America Stadium (MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, TSN 690).

Montreal has a 2-0-0 record against the young expansion side. The Montrealers won the inaugural fixture 2-0 in North Carolina on May 14, 2022, before prevailing again by a 2-1 scoreline on June 25 at Stade Saputo.

Montreal will notably be without defenders Zachary Brault-Guillard and Aaron Herrera. Both players have been called up by Canada and Guatemala respectively for the 2023 Gold Cup. The two countries have been drawn into the same group (D) and will face each other on Canada Day, July 1, at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston.

As for Charlotte, the team is winless since May 27, when it defeated the LA Galaxy 1-0 in California. Since then, Charlotte has posted a 0-2-2 record, most recently dropping two points on Wednesday on the road when leading 2-0 against the New York Red Bulls, then conceding two quick goals in the second half.
