LA Galaxy Forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernández Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy today announced that forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernández underwent a successful anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructive surgery on his right knee. Hernández, who was placed on the Season-Ending Injury List, will miss the remainder of the 2023 season.
In 82 career games played (71 starts) across all competitions for the LA Galaxy, Hernández has tallied 39 goals and six assists.
The LA Galaxy return to league action by traveling to face the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, June 24 (6:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
