MONTREAL - After confirming a spot in the Canadian Championship final on Wednesday evening, CF Montréal will continue its MLS campaign by hosting Inter Miami CF this Saturday as part of its Latin Theme Night celebrations at Stade Saputo at 7:30pm (Apple MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, TSN 690).

This will be the second meeting this season against the Floridians who walked away with all three points in the season opener (2-0) at DRV PNK Stadium on February 25.

This will be Miami's second visit north of the border to Montreal. In the first match, played in August 2022, the teams battled to a 2-2 draw. CF Montréal's overall record against Miami is 4-2-1, with 13 goals scored and six conceded since the expansion club's inaugural season in 2020.

CFMTL has won six of the last seven home games this season, including the last three in clean sheet victories.

It will also be a reunion of sorts for Bryce Duke and Ariel Lassiter, both obtained from Miami on April 12 in exchange for defender Kamal Miller. The Canadian international has played six games since arriving in Fort Lauderdale, totalling 477 minutes. Duke and Lassiter have played 453 and 499 minutes respectively in MLS with Montreal. In that time, Duke has recorded a goal and an assist, while Lassiter scored his first career goal with CFMTL on Wednesday against Forge FC in the Canadian Championship.

In addition, Mathieu Choinière's next game will be his 100th (all competitions) with CF Montréal. The Homegrown player has logged 87 MLS games, one MLS Cup playoff match, nine Canadian Championship games and two Concacaf Champions League games.

Inter Miami was also in action earlier this week, winning its U.S. Open Cup tie on Tuesday, 2-1, against Nashville SC. Twelfth in the Eastern Conference standings with a 5-8-0 record, Miami will also be looking to end a two-game losing streak in MLS, following a 2-1 defeat in Nashville on May 17 and a 3-1 loss to Orlando on May 20.
