
New York Battle Seattle Sounders FC for First Time Since 2019 at Lumen Field on Saturday Night

The New York Red Bulls (3-4-7, 16 pts.) battle Seattle Sounders FC (7-5-2, 23 pts.) for the first time since 2019 at Lumen Field on Saturday, May 27. Kickoff is set for 10:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish will begin at 10:30 p.m. ET. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Danny Higginbotham on the English side. Jorge Perez Navarro will have the play-by-play responsibilities alongside Marcelo Balboa on the Spanish broadcast. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.
This will be the 15th overall meeting between New York and Seattle, with the Seattle holding the advantage with a 6-5-3 mark. New York are unbeaten in their last three MLS regular season matches, where they have posted a mark of 2-0-1. The Red Bulls have only allowed 37 shots on goal, which is the lowest in MLS. New York ranks first in the MLS in aerial duels won and has three players in the Top 10 of that category: Sean Nealis, Andres Reyes, and Cory Burke.
Midfielder Cristian Casseres, Jr. tallied his second assist of the season in New York's latest MLS victory on Saturday, May 20. Casseres, Jr. now has tallied 19 assists in his MLS career, which is the most by any active Red Bulls player.
Following Saturday's match, New York wraps up their two-match road stand with a matchup against Inter Miami CF at DRV PNK Stadium on Wednesday, May 31. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via Tune In, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
