Post-game comments from head coach Wilfried Nancy, Alistair Johnston and Djordje Mihailovic are available here.
WILFRIED NANCY
"I'm proud of this team's mental strength. We know the way we want to play. The guys like to battle and they're courageous offensively and defensively. We conceded twice tonight but the team gave everything. So I'm pleased with what I'm seeing."
ALISTAIR JOHNSTON
"Houston has some very talented players in attack. In preparing for this game, we understood this was going to be a tough game. It was one of those games where it felt like there was always a goal-scoring chance for both teams. But at the same time, we always felt confident that no matter what happened, we were going to come out on top if we stuck to our principles. We have full belief in how we're playing. Once everyone is on the same page and working in harmony, you can see how it translates to the field."
DJORDJE MIHAILOVIC
"We showed a fighting spirit tonight. And that is the most important thing coming into environments like this on the road. You're in for a battle every time. And if you're the team that comes in with that mentality, then you're going to leave the game with three points. And that's what we did. The mental aspect is very important in our line of work. My injury knocked me down. And it took a while for me to get my form back. This past week I finally reached a high point. I had a good week of training. I felt good mentally in this match. I felt confident in my abilities to do what I was doing before my injury."
