Cernak Commits to Otters, Will Debut in Owen Sound

Owen Sound, Ontario - Erie Otters General Manager Dave Brown announced today that first round CHL Import Draft selection Erik Cernak has committed to the Erie Otters and agreed to an OHL standard player agreement.

Cernak, a 6'-3", 203-pound defenseman, was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings 43rd overall in the second round of the 2015 NHL Draft. The Kosice, Slovakia native was assigned to the Erie Otters on Tuesday, October 28th by Los Angeles and will make his OHL debut in Owen Sound Wednesday night.
