On Tuesday, June 21, the R-Phils are set to host a special Tribute to the Phillies, and with that, have a great night of baseball and festivities planned for all that attend.
The Reading Phillies will battle the Erie SeaWolves in game two of their four-game series, and VIST Financial Plaza gates are set to open at 5:00 p.m. for the 7:05 p.m. contest.
The Reading Phillies and the Philadelphia Phillies have the longest affiliation in all of baseball - being affiliated since 1967 and with that, the Reading Phillies are teaming up with their parent club to bring fans in Baeballtown an awesome night!
First, the Phillie Phanatic will make his much-anticipated return to America's Classic Ballpark on Tuesday, and will entertain fans throughout the game, thanks to Rowe Law Offices. In addition, Tuesday's highlight of the evening is that all fans, that come out to the game, can have their photo taken with both the 1980 & 2008 World Series Championship Trophies, brought to you by Comcast SportsNet and 830 AM WEEU.
Tuesday is also a "Crazy About Reading Night" with a FREE ticket for all Redner's R-Phils Kids Club members and an R-Phils player reading session starting at 5:30 p.m., thanks to Renaissance Academy Charter School. Help us celebrate our libraries by joining in this fun educational event!
