
Celebrate Mother's Day with the Baysox

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today a Mother's Day Celebration at Prince George's Stadium, Sunday, May 11, as the Baysox take on the New Britain Rock Cats at 2:05 p.m. Bring the whole family out to celebrate Mom and take advantage of the first opportunity this season to play catch on the field before the game.
Starting at 12:30 p.m., fans will be able to go down into the outfield to play catch. Enjoying a nice afternoon at the ballpark is a great way to celebrate your Mom so bring your baseball gloves and a ball and play catch with Mom on the field until 1:15 when it will be time for brunch.
The Mother's Day brunch will be held in the Diamond View Restaurant. Stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m. and food is served from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The buffet includes a fresh fruit & cheese display, Palm Beach salad, smoked salmon, assorted bread and pastries, scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, Belgian waffles, applewood smoked bacon, maple sausage, seafood Newburg, braised veal tips, Chicken Scaloppini Saltimbocca, rice pilaf, green beans almondine, fresh baked berry bread pudding. Iced tea, lemonade, and unlimited soft drinks are also included.
Tickets for the Mother's Day Brunch are $39 for adults 13 and older, or $34 for Baysox ticket plan holders, $25 for children 6-12 years old, $10 for children 3-5 years old and children 2 and under are free. To ensure there is enough food for everyone, tickets must be ordered by 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 7.
