Led by goaltender Jacob Steinman's 31 saves, the Wildcats defeated the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 2-1 before 2,100 fans at the KC Irving to halt the loss streak at four games.
Miles Müller (10th) potted the game-winner at the 40-second mark of the third period to break the 1-1 tie. Yoan Loshing also scored his 25th of the season, on the powerplay in the first period.
With 12 games remaining in the regular season, It was a key victory for the Cats who maintain 2nd place in the Maritime Division and sole possession of 5th place in the 10-team Eastern Conference.

The Wildcats host the Shawinigan Cataractes on Sunday Funday at 4 p.m. at Avenir Centre then hit the road next week for three games in Quebec starting Wednesday night in Rimouski (8 p.m. ATL), Friday in Baie Comeau (8 p.m. ATL) and Saturday afternoon in Chicoutimi (5 p.m. ATL)
