
Beaudoin & Cats Post Solid Win Over Cataractes

Veteran Charles Beaudoin enjoyed a solid game against his former team. Moncton's #79 scored twice (16th, 17th) and set up another as the Cats took down the Cataractes 5-3 before 4,030 fans on Sunday Funday at the Avenir Centre.
Despite being outshot 46-27, Shawinigan kept the game close.
Miles Müller provided some breathing room with his 11th of the season late in the third. Other Wildcat tallies to Alex Mercier (8th) and Connor Trenholm (12th). Jacob Steinman logged the win in goal with 24 saves while Shawinigan's Remi Delafontaine absorbed the loss with 41 stops.

The win was Moncton's second straight and properly launched the 3-game road swing into Québec. The action begins Wednesday night in Rimouski against the Oceanic at 8pm (Atlantic), Friday night at Baie Comeau versus the Drakaar at 8pm (Atlantic) and Saturday afternoon in Chicoutimi with the Sags at 5pm (Atlantic).
