Catenacci and Binnington Named to Subway Series

The Owen Sound Attack in partnership with the Ontario Hockey League and Subway restaurants is pleased to announce that forward Daniel Catenacci and goaltender Jordan Binnington have been selected to participate in the Canada/Russia Subway Super Series. The two OHL games will take place in Guelph and Sarnia. Catenacci has been selected to participate in the game in Sarnia, while Binnington has been selected to participate in both games for team OHL.

Binnington is in his 4th season with the Attack and currently sits 2nd amongst OHL goaltenders in GAA (2.07), 1st in save percentage (.935) and 2nd in wins with seven. The veteran stopper has also moved into 2nd place all time on the Owen Sound franchise wins list with 61.

Catenacci is in his 2nd season with the Attack and 4th in the OHL. The Newmarket native represented the Attack last season at the Subway Super Series and will be making his second straight appearance. The feisty forward has 14 points in 11 games with a rating of +8.

The Subway Super series is often considered one of the highest measuring sticks by Hockey Canada when choosing their National Junior team.
