Cashman Loaned To Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have loaned defenseman Reid Cashman to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), it was announced on Thursday.

Cashman, 25, appeared in four games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, recording two assists and six penalty minutes.

The native of Red Wing, MN split last season between the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and the Columbia Inferno (ECHL). He posted three assists and eight penalty minutes in eight games with the Marlies, and 27 points (5+22) and 60 penalty minutes in 41 games with the Inferno.

The 6-2, 205 pound blueliner spent four seasons at Quinnipiac University, recording 148 points (23+125) in 151 games.
