Blues Recall Forward Brad Winchester

St. Louis, Mo. (November 20, 2008) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has recalled forward Brad Winchester from the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

Winchester, 27, has played in 13 games with Peoria this season, registering six points (four goals, two assists) along with 46 penalty minutes. The 6-5, 228-pound forward has skated in 119 National Hockey League games, collecting 13 points (five goals, eight assists) and 153 penalty minutes.

The Madison, Wisconsin native was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 35th overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft.

Winchester joins Cam Paddock, Jeff Woywitka and Steve Regier in St. Louis who have all been recalled by the Blues since Nov. 13.
