B-Sens Sign Defenseman Neil Petruic

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed defenseman Neil Petruic to a 25-game professional tryout agreement.
Petruic, 26, has two goals, two assists and 12 penalty minutes in 14 games this season with the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL.
A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Petruic registered 17 points (2+15) in 125 games with the B-Sens over two seasons (2005-06, 2006-07).
Petruic was Ottawa's first eighth-round pick, 235th overall, in the 2001 NHL entry draft.
The B-Sens return to home ice on Friday, Nov. 21 against the Toronto Marlies followed by a visit from the Philadelphia Phantoms on Saturday, Nov. 22. Good tickets remain for these contests.
