Calgary, AB - Calgary Hitmen forward Carson Focht scored the highly-anticipated teddy bear goal 1:34 into the opening period of the 2019 ENMAX Teddy Bear Toss, setting off a flurry of stuffed toys from energetic fans on Sunday afternoon at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Thanks to the generosity of the Calgary community and ENMAX, over 70 local agencies, including the Salvation Army, Calgary Food Bank and Siksika Nation will share thousands of teddy bears this holiday season.
Since the inaugural 1995 toss, the Hitmen, with generous support from their partners and fans, have provided the community with 377,583 teddy bears.
