
Captains Score 18 Runs, 'Birds Committ 11 errors in Double Header

Delmarva Shorebirds News Release
Delmarva was out-scored 18-2 in the doubleheader Tuesday night at Perdue Stadium. The Shorebirds committed 11 total errors, six belonging to second baseman Ryan Adams. The Shorebirds were dominated by Lake County's pitching staff allowing just six hits and striking out Delmarva 12 times. Matt Brown and Chris Nash led the way in game two for the Captains with two hits, two runs and two RBI apiece. The two teams get underway tomorrow at 10:35AM at Perdue Stadium.
