
Dub, "Sir Purr," & "Rufus" To Headline Mascot Mania, Friday, April 25th

Kannapolis, NC - The Kannapolis Intimidators have put together an All-Star lineup for their Mascot Mania event, this Friday, April 25th. Along with their own loveable blue friend, Dub, the Carolina Panthers' "Sir Purr" and the Charlotte Bobcats' "Rufus" will be starring in this event. Also, in attendance for Mascot Mania will be Lowes Motor Speedway's "Lug Nut", Smokey the Bear, Winthrop University's "Big Stuff" and others. Fans are invited to come out to Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium to get autographs, pictures, and be entertained all night by some of Dub's closest friends. Gates open at 6:00pm with the first pitch being thrown at 7:05pm.
Friday is also ALS Association Night at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. The Kannapolis Intimidators and the ALS Association's Catfish Hunter Chapter are teaming up once again this season. The Catfish Hunter Chapter will be set up on the Main Concourse distributing information and registering fans for the Walk to d'feet ALS taking place in Charlotte on Saturday, May 31st. There will also be a representative from ALS throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Please redeem the below voucher at the Intimidators Ticket Office and $3 of your purchase will go to the Catfish Chapter.
Also, invited to participate in Friday's festivities are the people and businesses of Kannapolis for the City of Kannapolis Night. Fans are encouraged to come and celebrate their great city as well as learn about the North Carolina Education Lottery by visiting their table located on the main concourse.
