
Captains Return Home Tuesday After Short Trip to Fort Worth

SHREVEPORT, LA.---The Shreveport-Bossier Captains, presented by U-Auto Pull-It Auto Parts, welcome the Grand Prairie AirHogs next Tuesday for a three-game series before the Amarillo Sox come into town Friday to round-out the six-game home stand, that concludes on Sunday, July 31. All games will begin at 7:05pm with Sunday's match-up starting at 6:05pm. The home stand is highlighted with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana "Strike Out Hunger", Public Safety Appreciation Night, Bud Light and 99X Shirt off our back, Willis-Knighton Kids Eat Free Wednesday, Willis-Knighton Back to School Bash "Shots for Tots", Turn Back the Clock Night, and Pepsi's "Bark at the Park".

Tuesday, July 26 - Grand Prairie AirHogs @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:05pm) Strike Out Hunger and Captain Morgan TwoferTuesday - Fans who donate a minimum of 6 cans of food and/or non-perishable food items will receive a free reserved ticket to that night's game. Fans who donate 10 or more cans of food and/or non-perishable food items will receive a free reserved ticket to that night's game and a free reserved ticket to a future 2011 regular season home game. The evening includes buy one get one free tickets and Captain Morgan drinks.
Wednesday, July 27 - Grand Prairie AirHogs @ 7:05pm
(Gates open at 6:05pm) Willis-Knighton Wednesday and Public Safety Appreciation Night - Kids 12 and under eat free with paid admission. Kids receive a free hot dog and can soda compliments of Willis-Knighton every Wednesday home game. With valid department identification current and retired employees will receive 4 free reserved tickets for the game against the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. The ticket program is available to Police Departments, Fire Departments, EMS Services, Drug Enforcement Agency, FBI, U.S. Marshal, U.S. Secret Service, and Sheriff Departments, within the City of Shreveport-Bossier and outlining communities.
Thursday, July 28 - Grand Prairie AirHogs @ 7:05pm
(Gates open at 6:05pm) Thirsty Thursday and Bud Light/99X Shirt Off Our Back Night - Fans will have the chance to take home their favorite Captain's game worn t-shirt courtesy of Bud Light and Eagle Distributing. Thirsty Thursday also includes $2 domestic can beer and $2 Pepsi products.
Friday, July 29 - Amarillo Sox @ 7:05pm
(Gates open at 6:05pm) Willis-Knighton Back to School Bash, Shots for Tots, Book Drive and Turn Back the Clock Night - Thanks to Willis-Knighton Health System kids ages 4-12 with a current immunization record will receive two free tickets to the game that night. Shots for Tots Mobile Unit will at Fair Grounds Field from 1pm - 5pm to get their immunizations updated courtesy of Willis-Knighton. In addition, if you bring a new or slightly used children's book you receive one free reserved ticket to the game. This year's Captains will wear game jerseys from the original Captains dating back over a decade. The evening also includes metroPCS Youth League Night and Buffalo Wild Wings "Kids' Run the Bases".

(Gates open at 6:05pm) Miller Lite and 98 Rocks Shirt Off Our Back Night - Fans will have the chance to take home their favorite Captain's game worn t-shirt courtesy of Miller Lite and Glazer's Distributing.
Sunday, July 31 - Amarillo Sox @ 7:05pm
(Gates open at 5:05pm) Pepsi's "Bark in the Park" - Where fans can bring their beloved family dog to the ballpark. Thanks to Pepsi, Sunday's also include a special ticket price of $2 and 20 ounce soft drinks for just $2. After this home stand the Captains travel to El Paso for a short three-game series against the Diablos before returning home on Friday, August 5 to begin a six-game home stand with Amarillo and Fort Worth. Single-game tickets are available for purchase in-person or over the phone by visiting the Captains Executive Offices at 2901 Pershing Boulevard at Fair Grounds Field or by calling (318) 636-5555. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express accepted.
